How quickly can my child start working with a tutor?
Most families are matched with a tutor within 48 hours of their first call. Once we know your student's grade, subject, and schedule, we'll pair them with the right educator and begin sessions almost immediately.
Are sessions in-person or virtual?
Both. Our signature is one-on-one in-home tutoring throughout Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties. Virtual sessions over Zoom are also available — and just as effective, particularly for older students and test prep.
What grade levels and subjects do you cover?
Kindergarten through 12th grade in every core subject — math, language arts, science, social studies — plus honors and AP courses, foreign languages (Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, ESL), test prep (SAT, ACT, PSAT, FSA, GED, GRE), and music lessons (piano, guitar, voice). Adult and college-level tutoring is available on request.
Who are your tutors, exactly?
Every Sunshine tutor is a certified, degreed educator. Many are current or former classroom teachers. We hand-select tutors based on the student's age, subject, learning style, and personality — so the match feels right from the very first session.
How long does it take to see results?
